⁷ Seven times^(A) he shall sprinkle^(B) the one to be cleansed of the defiling disease, and then pronounce them clean. After that, he is to release the live bird in the open fields.^(C)

⁵¹ Then he is to take the cedar wood, the hyssop,^(A) the scarlet yarn and the live bird, dip them into the blood of the dead bird and the fresh water, and sprinkle the house seven times.^(B)

¹⁴ He is to take some of the bull’s blood^(A) and with his finger sprinkle it on the front of the atonement cover; then he shall sprinkle some of it with his finger seven times before the atonement cover.^(B)

¹³ The blood of goats and bulls^(A) and the ashes of a heifer^(B) sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean.

¹⁹ When Moses had proclaimed^(A) every command of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves,^(B) together with water, scarlet wool and branches of hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll and all the people.^(C)

²¹ In the same way, he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and everything used in its ceremonies.

²⁸ By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer^(A) of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.^(B)

²⁴ to Jesus the mediator^(A) of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood^(B) that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.^(C)
